About

Hi, my name is Dillon - I’m the person behind the camera at DRIX Films.

I’m a videographer who shoots on 16mm Kodak motion picture film. I’ve always loved making films, and that led me to train at London Film School. More recently, I’ve found a passion for capturing life’s undirected moments.

I believe the most meaningful moments aren't staged, they’re felt, and that’s what makes each wedding film come out completely different and unique from the last.

At weddings, I’m more of a quiet observer than the sort of person who directs people around (though I’m sure I’ll get on great with your photographer!). No forced poses. No interruptions. Just an intentional eye for the moments that matter - the way hands find each other, the laughter between friends, the fleeting glances.

Shooting on 16mm is a choice born from my love of the craft and its timeless quality is best used to capture life’s fondest memories. There’s an honesty to film that can’t be replicated through digital filters: the softness of light, the subtle grain, the imperfections that make every frame feel alive.

If you think this is what you’re looking for in a wedding film, then I’d love to chat!
